From 21 to 23 Aug, up to 200 of the top climbing athletes worldwide will come to the climbing metropolis Munich. These days in August 2014 at the Munich Olympic Stadium will be the highlight of all climbing events of the year. Akiyo Noguchi, Anna Stoehr, Adam Ondra, Dimitrii Sharafutdinov, Jan Hojer and their rivals will compete for the world championship. For three days, we will have a big exciting boulder session, and, on the last evening, a big party. The assistance team of the German Alpine Club Sektion München & Oberland and I as their chief organiser will give our very best for a professional competition atmosphere. I’m looking forward to seeing all the climbing stars of the world in my hometown Munich soon.
